Small Grants
We use 100% of public support and contributions to our animal welfare fund to pay vet bills for sick and injured animals. To date, we have helped hundreds of deserving animals suffering from illnesses, broken bones, torture, and other painful conditions.
Creature Care Education Program
Our educational program, Creature Care, was launched on March 11, 2008. Our program will focus on the needs and wants of animals, their feelings, and how, in many ways, they are just like us. By incorporating games, photos, activities and live therapy animals into the program, children (age K-3) will experience, perhaps for the first time, the value of animals. Children will also learn how to avoid being bitten or scratched by animals. Each class will receive three backpacks filled with books, stuffed animals, and activities that children can share with their families. The goal of Creature Care is to touch the lives of children in their formative years and prevent animal cruelty by making children realize that animals have feelings just like we do.
On January 15, 2010, Creature Care was debuted in Metro Nashville Public Schools.
Dr. Jesse Register and members of the School Board were in attendance.
